Drill Bit - Pilot Point

Our Pilot Point Jobber Drill Bits by SAVAC® are designed with a self-centering tip that eliminates the need for a pilot hole and in some cases a centre punch. This tip helps the bit to start drilling precisely without wandering or skating across the surface of the material and reduces lock up on break through.

Pilot Point Drill Bits come in two HSS options;

• M2 HSS: Known for its balance of hardness, toughness, and wear resistance, M2 drill bits are suitable for general-purpose drilling in materials like wood, metal, and plastic.

• M35 Co HSS: Contains 5% cobalt, enhancing heat resistance and hardness compared to M2. M35 drill bits are ideal for drilling tough materials such as stainless steel, hardened steel, and cast iron.
